My Week

I am a great lover of pretty things and like hunting around for them. I find a lot of stuff in Charity Shops, and this is one of my newest finds. It is a very pretty necklace. It is not made of any precious metal, and it only cost £1,50 but I liked it when I saw it.

I have been working on my latest CD. Its one for the animal lovers amongst you. It has some beautiful designs on it and I am sure you will like it. Keep watching here as I will give you previews of my work here.

I put my first project on here earlier in the week. It was made using the Everyday Collection CD which is available from for only £9.99 I will be posting more projects in the future. I also posted a freebie craft sheet earlier in the week. I hope you liked it. You are free to sell cards you make from this sheet, but please do noe sell the sheet. I am going to post freebies at least once a month

My week started pretty well with a 3 1/4lb weight loss. I will be 50 in march and I don't want to be fat and 50, so I decided it was time to do something about it. I have been following the new Rosemary Connley Amazing Inch Loss Plan. It seems to be working so far, and I will keep you up to date. I would like to be in a smaller dress size by the time I go to Edinburgh for my birthday in March

I had a tarot reading on Saturday night. The reading was done by a guy named Aaron. He is better known as the Necromancer, and he has a website if you would like to get in touch with him. He has offered to do a Past Life Reggression for me, so after my birthday I will be looking into that

Friday morning I met Louise, Marie and Tia in Chester-le Street for a visit to the market. I got a bit of a shock when I saw it. There are only about 10 stalls left. It is quite sad as this used to be one of the biggest open air markets in the North East.

I got this fabric in the market and I am going to make a coat with it. I knew as soon as I saw it I had to have it.Louise seemed to think the idea of making a coat with it was a good idea as well

We also had a look in Boyes Discount Store which is on the high street in Chester-le Street. Its a good place for discount fabrics and general crafty bits., I will have to have another trip there after pay day.

Lunch wa a bag of chips in what marie described as the best chip shop outside of Glasgow. Never having been to Glasgow I can't argue with this, but I guess that means it was pretty good. The chip shop was Clems and is on the main high stret in Chester-le -Street.

This is the fabric I am going to use to line the coat with. It came at a bargain price and I just could not resist it. In fact I bought what was left on the role, which came to almost 13 metres. Well I am going to use about 6 metres to line the coat so I have to get thinking about what I am going to use the rest for. I am thinking maybe a skirt.

I hope you all have a good week
